Grant Description

The project will assist the Cooperative Agro-pastorale de Buhanga- COOPABU, consisting of 214 members, to increase potato production levels from 9 to 15 tons per hectare, per season, and thereby increasing revenues from approximately $259 to $1,440 per season, with improved agricultural inputs, enhanced infrastructure, and targeted training in Cooperative Management, bookkeeping, and marketing strategies.
