Grant Description
Sector: Animal production.Beneficiaries: 2522 (1589 women).Description: The group seeks to develop a site where fattened cattle and sheep can be gathered and loaded on to trucks for delivery to LAHAM sloughterhouse or other clients.
The infrastructure would include a fenced park, borehole, warehouse, shed, scale and other equipment that meet LAHAM standards. Financial management support would facilitate loan procurement from banks to fund animal acquisition. The Union would shift from marketing animals by individuals to marketing under the Union umbrella.
