Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) - Ruo and Rui Medical

The project aims at empowering women in low income communities by increasing employment and providing women with machines to sew reusable pads. Each employee will be paid per 500 reusable pad production a month. This will assist the South African government in reducing womens employment rate. The solution is to keep girls in school.

To grant government, NPOs and private companies the opportunity to give sanitary items to girls at the most cost effective.
