Grant Description

CDC has one individual seconded to WHO to assist in providing technical assistance in the develop of Hepatitis B Vaccination Policy to ensure hepatitis B vaccine is part of the routine vaccination schedule for newborns in developing countries.

Efforts are also underway to develop counseling and testing efforts for individual who are chronically infected with viral hepatitis.
