Our project has developed a non-destructive, time efficient solution to conduct underwater biodiversity surveys. This has been designed to help improve environmental impact assessments for offshore infrastructure, marine conservation projects and environmental monitoring. We provide a full circle service solution including; the deployment of our patented Automated Baited Underwater Video (ABUV) lander, expert analysis of the video and tailored report writing.

Within this project we will develop a second version of our patented underwater lander which will allow for easier deployments from small boats, worldwide shipping and multiple daily deployments. We will concentrate on undertaking extensive customer trials which will allow us to reach new markets within the offshore infrastructure market and a larger global marketplace.

Lastly, we will continue to develop software automation which will increase the efficiency of the video analysis and help to reduce the industry bottleneck in this sector.

This project will allow us to provide services which will aid marine conservation and help responsible and sustainable marine development.
