Grant Description

AMCRA will promote, strengthen and preserve the Maya-Achi culture through training in traditional mask-making, compiling and recording music, conducting research into and drafting materials on dances and oral history, and developing permanent exhibits for the Museo Achi.

Project beneficiaries will receive a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the masks, recordings and printed materials in the museum shop.
