Grant Description

AP will develop and consolidate a production chain to benefit small-scale farmers, artists, craftspeople and the urban unemployed in Par, including African descendants, youths and women, by creating jobs, improving their income and strengthening the five organizations to which they belong.

AP produces paper and paper crafts by combining Japanese techniques with traditional Amazon fiber- and dye-processingwhich also promotes the biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources in the Amazon region. (BR-837)
