Grant Description

FBN will develop the public library in Tol, Chiriqu, into a model facility that will serve as a center where 12,000 residents can become involved in cultural events and community projects.

The library will offer research and planning activities, reading and literacy programs, opportunities to participate in the recovery of local oral traditions, and training for teachers, community leaders and parents in the use of library resources.
