Grant Description

Asociacin de Agricultores Ecolgicos de la Laguna de Chicabal (ASAECO), $157,825 over three years ASAECO will offer training and invest in infrastructure to improve the services and facilities it offers through its ecotourism complex.

The goal is to attract more foreign tourists and make the Chicabal Lake and volcano a well known tourist attraction, resulting in increased incomes for project participants as the ecotourism complex is managed and owned by ASAECO's members.
