Grant Description

Cooperativa Integral de Comercializacin Carmelita (CARMELITA) will develop its ecotourism business to enhance earning potential for its members and improve sustainable business practices.

Over a three-year period, CARMELITA's members will invest in infrastructure, training, exchanges and equipment, and will engage government officials to ensure compliance with local tourism regulations. The grant will benefit about 80 individuals directly and another 380 individuals indirectly.
