Grant Description

China Eximbank pledges a USD 15 million loan for Procurement of Machinery for rehabilitation of Irrigation Infrastructure in Sindh On August 16, 2012, the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) of Pakistan approved a project to procure machinery for the rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructure in Sindh, Pakistan.

Following the project approval, the regional government of Sindh signed a commercial contract with an unnamed Chinese company. Loan applications and disbursements are still being received and processed as the projects continue to evolve. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are in place to ensure project continuity.
