Strengthening women's organizations in the Gran Chaco Americano to defend their rights

Women in the Gran Chaco Americano face barriers to participation in their communities.

Fundacin ProYungas (ProYungas) in Argentina, Centro de Estudios Regionales de Tarija Pueblos del Chaco (CERDET) in Bolivia, and Grupo Sunu de Accin Intercultural (Sunu) in Paraguay provide technical assistance to a network of women?s organizations to develop skills in communication, advocacy, and violence prevention and to build strategic relationships with the private and public sectors to promote gender equality.

At the IAF, we support community-led solutions to strengthen governance in Latin America and the Caribbean.

These organizations? activities strengthen grassroots organizations through education and training and build peer-to-peer learning and action networks.
