Grant Description
Since the early 1990s, a team of Russian and U. S. specialists has worked to study the ecology of the tiger and build a conservation program. Since 2001 the U.S.
Forest Service has provided support for research on the population dynamics of Siberian tiger prey populations, particularly wild boar Sus scrofa and red deer Cervus elaphus, in the Russian Far East.
Our partners include scientists from Russias Sikhote Alin nature reserve and United States scientists from the Wildlife Conservation Society, and Department of Zoology and Physiology of the University of Wyoming.
