Grant Description

This project is primarily designed to advance U.S. trade interests by helping newly acceding countries better understand their WTO obligations.

This includes helping the county become; 1) more forthcoming in notifying measures that change entry conditions; 2) notifying more measures prior to adoption; 3) adopting measures that are more consistent with those of the international standards bodies; and, 4) delaying implementation of measures that are problematic.
