Technical Services under The Economic and Food Security Program to revitalize and modernize the Haitian Agricultural Sector

Support USDA's contribution to the US Government's collective efforts to revitalize and modernize the Haitian agricultural sector.

Activities undertaken will strengthen the institutional capacity of the Haitian Ministry of Agriculture to deliver essential services in research, education, education, extension, and market information to agricultural producers; assist the Ministry of Agriculture in the decentralization process by strengthening institutional capacities and capabilities at the department and local levels; enhance food security and the nutritional status of the rural population and engage with private sector entities to increase productivity and efficiency along select agricultural value chains.
