Grant Description

Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia County, Kenya, holds the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa.

Funds will be used for improving on-site accommodation for protection and monitoring staff, implementing ear-notching operations, procuring a field patrol vehicle and radio communications supplies, and providing conditional community incentives for proactive support for rhino protection.
