Enhancing the efficient use of resources to better monitor and protect the black and white rhino populations of the uMKhuze Section of iSimangaliso Wetland Park World Heritage Site

To optimize security presence throughout rhino range in uMkhuze, funds will support upgrading of infrastructure at twelve remote camps, and operating costs for daily rhino monitoring and analysis of rhino sightings, anti-poaching patrols and rapid response to security incidents.
