Protecting the chimpanzees of the Nyungwe-Kibira Landscape through transboundary coordination and capacity building

The recipient will ensure the protection of the Nyungwe-Kibira chimpanzee population by building capacity through the provision of new park infrastructure and equipment; increasing patrol capacity and coverage; and improving transboundary law enforcement coordination between the Nyungwe National Park, Rwanda and Kibira National Park, Burundi.
