Grant Description

On January 4, 2011, the Chinese Government donated 24 pieces of machinery worth FJD 4.1 million to the Royal Fijian Military Forces (RFMF) Engineers Regiment for development activities.

The donation included 4 excavators; 5 dump trucks; 3 bulldozers, 2 vibratory rollers; 1 pneumatic roller; 2 motor graders; 2 wheel loaders; 2 loader diggers; 1 water truck; 1 pickup; 1 truck with a crane. The machinery will be used for rural development work. A team of technicians from China provided training.

XCMG Construction Machinery Co., Ltd is the implementing agency.
