Grant Description

Mali - Bamako-Senou Airport Improvement Project - Institutional Strengthening Activity: Infrastructure improvements will be accompanied by the establishment of appropriate institutional mechanisms to ensure effective management, operation and maintenance of the Airport facilities over the long term.

These measures will involve both the management of the Airport, as well as the wider regulatory framework governing the civil aviation sector in Mali.

MCC Funding will support the following: (i) Reinforcement of the new civil aviation regulatory and oversight agency (ANAC) and (ii) Rationalization and reinforcement of the Airport's management and operations agency (AdM).
