Conservation of Mural Paintings in Mahasarakham Province (Northeast Thailand)

To help raise public awareness of rare temple murals in two northeastern villages, train local residents to care for them, and create a network for regional support of folk art conservation.

By training local residents to care for this rare form of folk art, this project will not only save the temple murals but also establish a model for communal stewardship.
