Grant Description

To document five endangered indigenous Amazonian languages from three distinct families and cultures and collect stories, legends, personal histories, and descriptions of modern life. The five languages are representative of the languages and cultures of the Amazon River basin and its watershed areas.

The project includes CDs and DVDs documenting each ethnic group.
