Grant Description

To support the documentation of traditional ceremonies and stories associated with major life events.

Young Burundians who were displaced by civil war are returning to their country with little understanding of their cultural heritage. This project facilitates their understanding of Kabandwa, a codified system of belief which is uniquely Burundian.
