To document and highlight the Taoist and shamanistic rituals of the Iu Mien and Kim Mun ethnic minorities of northern Laos and promote appreciation and preservation of this heritage for future generations.
These upland peoples have been resettled by the government, and their traditional belief systems and rituals have been disrupted.
The project involves interviews with members of the communities and photographic and audiovisual recording of their activities.
