To support the survey and documentation of 19th- and early 20th-century teakwood houses in the town of Phrae.
Time, development pressures, and increased demand for teakwood for building materials are taking their toll on the historic architecture of the area, once known for its extensive teak forest reserves.
The project includes a public awareness campaign aimed at improving communal stewardship of the towns historic district.
