Grant Description

To preserve the collections of the national museum, which continues to recover from the debilitating effects of two civil wars.

The national museum is steward of a collection of more than 2,200 masks, musical instruments, statues, pottery, and arts and crafts. The project includes much needed equipment so that the staff can preserve and protect Congolese cultural heritage.
