Grant Description

To support the adaptation of the 17th-century lodge at the St. Archangeli Monastery in Skopje for modern use.

The lodge at the monastery is one of the oldest inns in the Balkans, and exposure to the harsh climate has seriously compromised the structure.

The project involves the restoration of the masonry and wood building, the conservation of historic interior features, and upgrades to the building infrastructure.
