To support the documentation of the Wangduechhoeling Palace in Bumthang, the original seat of power of the ruling dynasty of Bhutan, as the first phase of a larger project to convert the palace to a museum. Built in the 19th century, the palace exemplifies traditional Bhutanese architecture and craftsmanship.
This project involves an architectural conservation assessment, emergency interventions, and other activities in preparation for a comprehensive restoration of the building.
