Grant Description

To support the documentation of the ancient coin collection at the Cirta Museum in Constantine.

The collection of 19,000 coins spanning 20 centuries has yet to be catalogued, and museum staff lack training in cleaning and caring for coins.

The project focuses on the conservation of the collection under the direction of a conservation expert and conservation training for the museum staff.
