Grant Description

In this project, the Centro Leon Museo de Arte is teaming up with U.S. institutions such as the City University of New Yorks Dominican Studies Institute, the Museo del Barrio, and the Smithsonian Institution to train curators and staff in the preservation and digitization of ancient and historic objects associated with the Tano, African, Spanish, and other cultures of the Dominican Republic.
