Grant Description

In this project, the Republic of Georgia's Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatory of Music is teaming up with the Smithsonian Institution's Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage on a joint project to preserve traditional Georgian music through a series of in-person and virtual research and practical exchanges and workshops.

Support for this project comes from the AFCP 20th Anniversary Partnership Program, a State Department special initiative.
