Conservation of the Prehistoric and Historic Archaeological Collections of the Pueblo Manta at the Salango Research Center

The center's collections span 5,000-years of history and include objects of the pre-Columbian Manteo civilization, the forebears of Ecuador's indigenous Pueblo Manta people.

This project, which involves preventive conservation activities, directly supports the Embassy's efforts to engage vulnerable and underserved populations and promote socio-economic inclusion.
