The chants of babalawos, or elderly priests, of the Ifa are reflections of Yoruba history, language, and beliefs.

This project, which involves the documentation of 256 odus, or stories, of the babalawos of Oyo state, directly supports the U.S. embassys efforts to broaden its engagement with Nigerians increase understanding of U.S. government policies and American values.
