Traditional performances of the Chewa, Tumbuka, and Manganja peoples, such as the Gule Wamkulu, Vimbuza, and Mbona dances, are masterpieces of intangible heritage of humanity handed down over many centuries.

This project involves the documentation of these traditional marriage, healing, and burial ceremonies with a special emphasis on the role of women in performing and maintaining them.
