The Tikmu'un-Maxakali people occupy one of Brazil's smallest indigenous territories and retain a complex and ancient knowledge system that includes their native language, traditional arts and crafts, songs, ceremonial practices, and specialized agricultural, fishing, and hunting techniques.

This project involves the community-led documentation of multiple aspects of the Tikmu'un-Maxakali people's intangible heritage.
