Development and Manufacturing of salivary Point-of-Care tests

Hormone levels impact countless aspects of daily life, from mood and tiredness, to sporting performance, and medical treatment efficacy. Mint Diagnostics has made significant progress in developing Hormonix, our point-of-care diagnostics system for monitoring steroid hormones in saliva, for human performance optimisation and personalised healthcare.

This project will enable the commercialisation and mass production of Hormonix. The main outcome of this project will be the completion of cortisol and estradiol assay development, development of the software platform with enhanced data visualisation and hormone profile feature recognition capabilities, and the completed design and specification of a full-scale pilot plant capable of producing 500,000 test strips a year, to support a full market launch of the Hormonix technology in 2023.
