Parental Support As Service (PaSS)

Market Need

Currently, parents' lose ~33% of sleep (Silentnight Survey 2016) driven by babies' needs and stress/anxiety, which has physical/mental health, socio-economic and relationship impact (NIH 2020). There is reduced health-visitor and other care resources (Nursing Times 2019) further reduced by COVID19. Stress can result in 25% mums suffering depression, costing the UK £9bn yearly (LSE 2014).

UK parents do not have access to evidence-based affordable expert support for their daily day-to-day parenting challenges. Key Objectives

Connido's current basic baby monitor "Bluebell'' is already sold in High street retailers and has global potential to build UK excellence in baby and parent monitoring. The PaSS project will build on information and insights already collected relating to baby and parent needs to deliver extremely innovative data and affordable access to expert driven monitoring and personalised support for parents.
