Grant Description

On September 3, 2018, the Chinese International Cooperation Agency agreed to help in projects to construct cotton ginning and spinning plants by signing a framework agreement.

This is hoped to raise the national transformation of cotton product from two percent to twenty percent in the next five to ten years.

Present at the signing were President Xi Jinping of China, President Keita of Mali, and Mali's Minister of Economy and Finance Boubou Cisse. It is unclear what sort of financing China plans to provide under this framework agreement.
