Grant Description

According to report from the Chinese Embassy in Argentina, in 2019, the Chinese Scholarship Council unilaterally granted scholarships to 35 Argentinian students for the 2019-2020 academic year, following a memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries.

The call for scholarships was announced January 30, 2019 and the list of recipients was released on the Chinese Embassy in Argentina website on April 5, 2019.

Of the 35 scholarships, one was for postgraduate studies, one for undergraduate studies, and the remaining 33 were for one-year Chinese language studies. There was one alternate candidate.

In addition, fifteen scholarships were provided with bilateral support from the Argentinian Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology.
