Grant Description
On October 28, 2021, the Chinese Government donated a set of digital transformation system equipment to the National Television of Cambodia (TVK. The purpose of this donation is to help the TV station improve its broadcasting quality and efficiency.
The system can convert analog video signals from Video Home System (VHS), Betacam, mini DV, and other tapes into digital videos such as MOV, MXF, MP4, TS and MPG. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at the Cambodian Ministry of Information.
Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian handed over the equipment to Cambodian Information Minister Khieu Kanharith at the ceremony.
