Grant Description

This initiative will further efforts of U.S. and Chinese cooperation with projects that advance clean energy technologies, reduce GHG emissions, and identify commercial opportunities for the U.S. clean energy industry.

The two countries will also share city-level experiences on planning, policies, and use of technologies for sustainable, resilient, low-carbon growth. This initiative will also include demonstrations of new technologies for smart infrastructure for urbanization.
