Commercialisation of African Youth Enterprise Programme

The African Youth Enterprise Programme (AYEP) is a novel initiative designed to empower young entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Recognising the pressing issue of high unemployment, especially among African youth and graduates, the AYEP focuses on providing business skills training and fostering peer support networks.

According to a survey, the primary obstacles include a lack of funding, entrepreneurial skills, and business infrastructure. The AYEP addresses these critical needs, aiming to alleviate poverty and enhance the success and well-being of young African entrepreneurs.
