KidneyGenAfrica: A Partnership to Deliver Research and Training Excellence in Genomics of Kidney Disease in Africa.

The overarching aim is to establish a sustainable Pan-African Partnership that will facilitate multi-centre research into the genetic determinants of kidney disease in Africa, leveraging the strengths and resources of different institutions and researchers across Africa, which could ultimately lead to improved kidney disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention strategies.

To develop this framework, it is essential there are appropriate mechanisms for investigators to define and develop multi-centre research programmes and share data, information and resources, and enhance capacity.
