Grant Description

The overall aim of the project is to explore the role local ownership can play in the energy system transition.

The project identifies the possibilities and risks of different types of local ownership, how local ownership can be organized to support the energy transition and what policy recommendations that are needed.

The Swedish Energy Agency funds the project based on its potential to narrow the knowledge gap on local ownership in Sweden and its societal and energy relevance.
