Interaction Design for the Solar Internet

The aim of the project is to encourage more energy-aware internet use among users by increasing the knowledge on constraints-based design principles for interaction design. This is done by examining the concept of a solar-powered internet together with households and industry.

The project develops a solar-powered web server and five websites that are tested and evaluated by users and actors from the industry. The Energy Agency deems that the project has the potential to contribute to the goals of the programme.
