Green logic: Estimation, projection and visualisation of energy efficiency refurbishments in buildings and associated multiple benefits

In this project, we want to visualize both the private and the socio-economically profitable energy efficiency potential for Swedish buildings and the multiple benefits that this efficiency entails.

The visualization takes place in a web-based tool based on simulations and projections of the potential for increasing energy efficiency. Existing data is produced and updated for various renovation measures. Calculations are performed, where the energy efficiency potential and its added value are produced.

In addition to fiscal effects, added value also includes reduced CO2 emissions, avoided expansion of energy production and health effects from improved indoor climates.

The tool is created flexibly and allows the inclusion of additional benefits, changes in input and assumptions as well as different future scenarios.

We hope to be able to contribute to more profitable measures being implemented to make energy use more efficient, and that the right measures are prioritised.
