Grant Description

Develop methods that facilitate requirements and verification of the function and energy use of ventilation units in apartment buildings that handle a lot of heat / energy and analyze the year-round relevance of standard operating points. This is to facilitate that new or renovated buildings better meet their estimated energy performance and increase the understanding of the importance of details in energy-efficient buildings.

The first version of the methodology is developed together with participating companies / suppliers and is agreed with property owners, consultants and installers.

Sveby should be able to work in step-by-step verification of ventilation units as an example in Sveby Energy Certificate.

Heat use must be standardized for normal use and e.g. heat losses in the duct system must be taken into account, which energy calculation programs do not normally do. But also the moisture content in the exhaust air is of great importance.
