The impact of education on single-family homeowners' propensity to implement measures

The goal of the project is to provide reliable data on which forms of communication have the best outcome in inspiring owners of single-family homes to implement energy efficiency measures. This knowledge can be used to design communication, information and educational materials that increase the pace of renovation for existing single-family homes.

The project is carried out in collaboration with the Swedish Energy Agency's network for energy-efficient single-family homes, BeSmå. The reference group includes representatives from the construction and installation industry, real estate agents and the insurance industry. An education concept is developed and anchored with the industry, test persons are recruited, zero measurement is carried out and the educations are developed.

The trainings are carried out and evaluated and their reception by the participants is analyzed. Knowledge and conclusions are compiled and results are communicated.
