Grant Description

The government's strategy for standardization (UD2018 / 12345 / HI) states, among other things, that "the government should, in the field of government supervision, for example in the context of governmental dialogues and follow-up, emphasize the importance of government agencies’ involvement in the standardization processes

and in the development of balanced standards when this correlates with the agencies’ missions". SIS standardization work on Environmental Management Systems, Energy Labeling of Tap Water Fittings, Heat Pumps, Smart Cities and Light & Lighting fits well with the government strategy because these fields are in line

with the Energy Agency's mission. By supporting the work you gain access to, and possibility to influence, the development of standards in this field, together with relevant Swedish stakeholder. The financial support also allows for active participation by the Swedish Energy Agency in the form of their appointing their own

representatives.
