Energy efficiency

This application covers the standardization work (both management of published standards and development of new standards and revisions) within efficient energy use and energy management systems.

This area includes e.g. energy management systems, energy mapping, evaluation of energy savings, guarantees of origin, management of the energy service standard and calculation methods as well as carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS).

The application has included the opportunity for participation in activities that have not yet been initiated by CEN and ISO, but which are likely within the next three-year period. This work is gathered within SIS in a technical committee for Efficient Energy Use, SIS / TK 558. The work is linked to the Energy Efficiency Directive and the Renewability Directive (as regards guarantees of origin).
